‘First Reading’ of Virginia Lee Burton Books

Admirers of Virginia Lee Burton’s writing and art are in for a treat! Burton’s writing cottage was recently restored and relocated to grounds of the Lanesville Community Center. Visitors are invited to a family-fun event at this treasured cottage on Saturday, October 27th at 1:00 pm for a ‘First Reading’ of Virginia Lee Burton books, as well as a children’s art activity, and coffee reception.
The children’s artwork will be on display at the Cape Ann Museum’s Activity Center and Student Art Gallery during the month of November.
