Frame Up to Fit Out Talk: Harold Burnham and the Sylvina Beal

March 27 @ 7:00 pm

Harold Burnham

Harold Burnham discusses the stewardship of the Schooner Sylvina W. Beal at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 pm. The Sylvina W. Beal, an eighty-foot fishing schooner built by Frank Adams in East Boothbay, Maine, is a survivor. After commercial fishing for 69 years and carrying passengers as a windjammer for 33 years, her age caught up to her. She made her way under sail and engine from Bar Harbor to her new home port, Gloucester, MA.
