Fronteriza – Written and Performed by Cristi Miles
September 13 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Galvanized by the current global immigration crisis and artist Cristi Miles’ personal experience growing up Mexican/American in El Paso/Juárez, Fronteriza describes the complex personality of borders and borderlands. Told in Spanish and English, this one woman performance talks about needing a new home, getting there, and still having an arduous journey ahead. It is a story of colonization, immigration, and how to heal from our ancestral wounds. It is a story of how we can reconcile by bearing witness. Fronteriza will be presented live on Sunday September 11 and Tuesday September 13 at 7:30pm.
