The Cape Ann Museum's monthly book club is for year-round residents of Cape Ann. Beginning in October and running through May, the Museum will host book club meetings in its auditorium. The Museum will stay open past the usual 5:00 p.m. closing to offer extended viewing hours for Homer at the Beach. In addition to galleries staying open for viewing, there will be illustrated talks, musical performances, artmaking opportunities, refreshments and more! Extended hours are free for CAM members or with Museum admission. There will be additional costs for special lectures or musical performances.

Gloucester 400, Our Stories Begin: 1623 through 1722

The Gloucester 400 Steering Committee invites the community to the first Signature event leading up to 2023 for an exploration of the settlement's history with a focus on its first century, 1623 through 1722. Beginning with the Native Americans who lived here before the Europeans arrived, and ending with the beginning waves of immigration, the program will highlight the first settler families who brought the settlement forward. All are encouraged to attend and participate.
