In response to the coronavirus crisis, the Magnolia Community Farmers Market is kicking off the season with a virtual market offering weekly online shopping and contactless pickup. They have a phenomenal group of vendors listed on their website where you can shop for local goods and produce. Shopping is open Monday through 12noon on Fridays, with contactless pickup in Magnolia on Sundays. Go to the website and click on the shop for details.

St. Peter's Fiesta is an annual celebration of the city’s commercial fishing and faith, that has grown to become a city-wide party in Gloucester, MA. The festivities include parades of statues, icons through the streets, Seine boat races, the blessing of the city’s commercial fishing fleet, Masses, nine evenings of prayer, a carnival and the greasy pole contest. The festival is sponsored by the Italian American community in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
